The Magician's Way by Elizabeth Scott

Lola is The Magician’s apprentice,

but she doesn’t believe she is being taught very much by him,
that is until she is left to her to save the balance of the natural world and the kingdom she lives in.

With The Magician taken by an evil spell that the Forest Queen has cast, Lola must use her own wits, her ability to talk to animals and the help of her new found friends at the King’s castle to over-come Forest Queen’s evil enchantment. But who actually has cast this spell? Is the Forest Queen really evil or has something else really taken over The Kingdom of the Three Valleys? Lola’s quest is to find out, and along the way finds out about her own magical power and just how much she is capable of. Join her on her quest in what is supposed to be the safest place on earth.

Reviews of the Magician's Way

A magical tale with something special: I was drawn into this classic tale right from the beginning. It has all that you’d hope for from a tale about a magician’s apprentice: kings queens, castles and cottages, villains and good honest folk all engaged in the struggle between good and evil. But Elizabeth Scott also brings something different, which is strongly realised and delightful, animal characters. I am genuinely impatient for the next instalment.

Srivati Skelton – Author and Mindfulness Teacher

A delightful tale of animals and humans together overcoming dark forces and restoring harmony in their lands.  Our band of adventurers confront an unknown force that assails their kingdom.  In a compellingly ordinary and endearing way Elizabeth Scott draws out the strength of friendship.

Lola, having escaped from the Serpent Lord’s realm, has hidden their most precious treasure in the mountain to keep it safe. This mountain contains the heart of a dragon. Yet Lola’s connection with Umir, the boy who writes of her day and night, still remains, which means the Serpent Lord’s General has learned of this treasure and is sure to invade. Will a new Forest Queen be chosen before he attacks? And what of the howls of the wolves telling of Lola’s faithful friend Oskar? Does he have a part to play in protecting The Three Valleys?
